Our new group of second year students are diving into fresh challenges and opportunities, ready to make a significant impact.
They received briefings from the commissioners, Safaripark Beekse Bergen, Bobbejaanland, Sealife Schevingen and Molenwaard resort (van Hoorne Entertainments), and made several visits to the clients. Their goal is to provide these organisations with advice on a new project they are developing.
Fieldtrip to Belgium
Part of this first semester was a successful field trip to Belgium. Their first stop was the Pairi Daiza zoo and theme park, where they received insights from Commercial Manager Sophie van den Driesche upon arrival.
Afterward, the students had the opportunity to explore the park before checking into their luxurious accommodation in 'The Land of the Cold,' where they stayed at The Paddle Bar Hotel, situated near the brown bears and wolves.
On the second day, the group visited Bobbejaanland theme park, participated in a Q&A session with various managers, and enjoyed all the rides. Some project groups received their assignments, with Operations Manager and ATPM alumnus Alex van Vught, along with a third-year student, providing further insights into the project.
